In the seventh week of my middle school life I learned how to make a cartoon stick-man for my vocabulary words. I just draw some stick-man with a caption and a think bubble. The second thing I learned is about primary sources. Primary sources are materials that were created during that time or by someone with firsthand knowledge about the event. The third thing I learned is that there are cabinets under the new book shelf that can open up to put stuff like boxes in there. I was told to put a box inside there, I also went inside there. The fourth thing I learned is to give books that has a or some lower case letters under the call number, in my section, to Mrs. Holleman. The fifth thing I learned is that Mrs. Holleman has eaten a real mud pie before. We were just talking about a video we watched then Bryson was saying he has eaten tar before.

In the sixth week of my middle school life I learned that on Destiny the visual tab lets you pick a certain type of catalogs for books. Like animal books, famous people books, and sports books. The second thing I learned is that there are three pumpkins in the media center with lots of green stuff on them. The third thing I learned is that there are some Naruto books in the Book Fair. It's not a chapter book or manga book though. The fourth thing I learned is that the Book Fair is selling some Five Nights at Freddy's books. The poster above the books has a picture of a bunny with his spiky teeth sticking out and it covered with blood. The fifth thing I learned is that on Destiny in the Info tab I get to see the books I have checked out and the price of that book.
In the fifth week of my middle school life I learned how to make a city sign with vocabulary words. I write the word, word of speech, source, the "Welcome", picture/cartoon, then the synonyms/antonyms. The second thing I learned is that Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha, reached total enlightenment, while meditating under a tree. I learned this while reading an article about Buddhism in Social Studies. The third thing I learned is that a guy named Paul was most responsible for the early spread of Christianity. I also learned this in Social Studies while reading an article about Christianity. The fourth thing I learned is that the mesosphere is the coldest atmospheric layer surrounding the Earth. I learned this is Science while reading a red science book. The fifth thing I learned is how to multiply/divide integers. If both numbers have the same signs the answer is positive. If the signs are different the answer is negative.
In the fourth week of my middle school life I learned how to add/subtract integers using a number line. In addition start from 0 then move to the first addend.If the second addend is positive move that many places to the right. If it is negative move that many places to the left. In subtraction start from 0, move to the 1st number, then if the 2nd number is positive move that many places to the left. If it is negative move that many places to the right. The second thing I learned is how to use the reading programs: lexile on Destiny. You can choose any lexile range to another. The third thing I learned is how to use 1 of the 7 tabs on Destiny, which is "number". That tab lets you choose the call number of a section or the letter to letter of a section. The fourth thing I learned is the meaning of dubiously. It means doubtful or of doubtful quality or property. The fifth thing I learned is how to search for a book series in Destiny. You simply just type in series in the search bar.
In the third week of my middle school life I learned how to not rush at the soccer ball because I could injure someone.I accidentally stepped on someone's foot. The second thing I learned is about road maps. Roads maps shows the roads and highways of an area. The third thing I learned is about political maps. Political maps shows the governmental boundaries of countries, states, counties, major cities, and it usually includes significant bodies of water. The fourth thing I learned is that Antarctica is the 5th largest continent in the world. At first I thought it was the 6th or 7th because it looked really small when I looked at a map. The fifth thing I learned is that there are 20 parks in Las Vegas City. I found that out by using google maps.
In the second week of my middle school life I learned how to do the "ladder" way of finding the prime factorization of a number. The ladder way is dividing a number by one of its prime factorization then make a L next to the prime factorization (2,3,5,7,etc). The second thing Learned is the "cake" way of finding the prime factorization of a number. The cake way is like the ladder way but you start from the bottom and build up like a cake.The third thing I learned is to always underline/italics my title when I'm writing a title. If you hand-write a title you should always underline it, when you are typing a title you should always italics. The fourth thing I learned is that I learned that Pink Chocolate was found. They want it to be called the "Ruby" chocolate. The fifth thing I learned is that a earthquake that hit Southern Mexico caused a tsunami. The earthquake's magnitude was 8.1.
In my first week of Media Class, I learned how to make a personal webpage with Weebly. Weebly is a website where you can go to get information and many other things. The 2nd thing i learned this week is about the 5 themes of geography.The 5 things of geography are Place, Location, Human-environment interaction, movement, and region. The 3rd thing i learned this week are the the divisibility rules of 9. The rule is that the digits has to add up to 9. The 4th thing i learned this week are the divisibility rules of 3. The rules are that the digits has to add to 3, 6, or 9. The 5th thing I learned this week is absolute location. Absolute location are the longitude and the latitude of a location.
